INDIANAPOLIS – Stephanie Dasbach has been named the new chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana.
Dasbach, of Carmel, was chosen as the new state chair Sunday by the LPIN’s State Central Committee. She replaces Evan McMahon, who was elected the Libertarian Party’s national chair in May.
Dasbach had been serving as the secretary of the Libertarian Party of Indiana. She has more than 20 years of experience in management, including managing two statewide campaigns. She excels in organizing and overseeing dynamic teams to drive grassroots initiative. Her strong commitment to effective leadership focuses on aligning diverse talents to achieve shared strategic goals.
A Hoosier resident for more than 40 years, Dasbach loves cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and exploring new places off the beaten path. Above all, she cherishes game nights and movie nights with her husband and four children.
She looks forward to continuing the Libertarian Party’s electoral success as chair, supporting the more than 30 Libertarians running for office throughout the state in 2026.
The Libertarian Party of Indiana is Indiana’s third-largest political party. Founded in 1974, the LPIN has had ballot access since 1994. Currently, there are 12 Libertarians serving in elected office and more than two dozen Libertarians serving in appointed office.
